Wow. The book had me in the beginning of the sample. I absolutely loved it. The author hooks you in and captivates you. The sample really sets the mood and gives you an over all feeling of what the book is gonna be about. It seems dark and mysterious and lets you know about the wild ride you are about to go on. I didn't really have any big problems with the excerpt. I only have one very small critique. I feel like more exciting wording and structure could have been used. It would really make the story pop and give it a better sense of identity. Other than that single critique, I found nothing wrong with the excerpt. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to other book readers. I can't wait to get to read it in its entirety!
