I stopped this book at 13% which doesn't sound like a lot, but these pages are huge, the font is small, and it took me 1.75 hours to read it. I have a good enough feel of the story to be pretty sure that I won’t enjoy the rest of the book. The fact that I didn't love it makes me incredibly sad because I wanted to get into this genre and discover a completely new collection of books to enjoy. The book doesn’t have any glaring problems, I just know that it’s not for me. It took a long time to get into the plot, and I'm still not completely sure I got to it. There were so many characters and it kept switching perspectives and it was difficult not to confuse them in my head.
Even though I didn't love it, I am incredibly grateful to BookishFirst for sending it to me. If you are into adult zombie novels, I definitely think you should check this book out when it hits the shelves.
