FANTASTIC! As I've already said twice, if you're a fan of zombie fiction, this is a fantastic read. George A. Romero is widely considered the MASTER of the zombie genre, for good reason, and Daniel Kraus picked up this unfinished entry into The Living Dead world and ran with it. It's more than just a zombie story or a survival story - I love how all the different characters are woven together to create the big picture. I enjoyed the way they gave us detailed back stories of all the major players, even going so far back as the very beginning of the zombie outbreak. It's always great to see how characters react when the outbreak is NEW and people just don't want to believe. Of course you'll get attached to some characters more than others, and like any good post-apocalyptic story, you'll learn quickly that nobody is really safe and some of your favorites may just fall victim to the zombie horde.

All in all, if you are a horror or zombie fan, this is a must-read
