I am a huge fan of zombie movies and tv shows and was so excited to get the chance to read my first zombie fiction. I’ll admit to being somewhat intimidated by the large page count but am happy to report they breezed by! What I particularly enjoyed was how character driven the story was. While I was expecting the gore and terror I didn’t fully prepare to be as invested in the characters as I was.
Something else I particularly enjoyed was how cinematic it felt. I was really able to “see” the action happening right before my eyes. I could easily see this being turned into an epic and amazing show.
