Having watched The Night of the Living Dead for the first time this last October, I found this first look to be very much in the style and sense of the original film (though set in modern day). The style of writing and the intense use of such descriptive wording had my eyes hooked to my phones screen. The outlay of the story thus far, left me wanting to see how the pandemic played out. However, I only read the first half because I did not want to spoil the ending for myself. Which is unusual for me. Normally I do not mind spoilers. But the artful way this story is being told has me wanting to read it word for word, in succession, from cover to cover.
