Within the first couple chapters I really enjoyed the amount of social context the writer included. The use of non specific gender identity as well as linking phones and technology to weapons was very refreshing in a novel.

The excerpt shifts further into the book and when it did I admit that I got a little confused and disoriented. The last couple pages didn't seem to fit much with the beginning.
