*Thank you to Laura Tremaine and Zondervan Books for the copy of book this unbiased review is based upon*

The Life Council came along at just the time I needed it. As an adult, I have often wondered how do other people work, spend time with their spouse, and have great friendships effortlessly. Author Laura Tremaine quickly dispills the myth that adult friendship is easy, and instead states that friendship is actually a "to do". Friendship is a "to do" (1 of her 5 friendship philosophies) and her concept of the Life Council are skillfully described. Each chapter presents the type of friendship/life council seat and then Tremaine provides two examples of friends in her own life that fill that council seat. The book is a quick, easy read which is quickly applicable to taking action in my own life. Throughout the book, I found myself looking to my own friend group to see who fits that seat on my life council. I found myself encouraged to reach out to old friends and (as the book suggests) look at my daily life to see new friends who I have not recognized previously.

Enjoyed this read focusing on friendship!
