This book was amazing. Adulthood is weird and hard as it is, and friendships tend to be one of those things that is much different that school friendships. It’s easy to have anxious thoughts about how good of a friend you’re being. It can also be stressful to think friends are upset with you. The beauty of this book is that it helps provide a new perspective on viewing friendships. Each friend has a special and unique purpose and no two are the same. Some are deep and/or lifelong friends while others are more superficial or seasonal friends. And both are okay! That’s what is wonderful. Even friends that are not lifelong can hold a special place in our hearts and are incredibly important to have. This book took the stress out of friendships while highlighting how to be the best possible friend to others. The most important philosophy: assume the best!
