I enjoyed this thought provoking read the encourages women to create their own "life council" filled with ten different kinds of friends people need in their life. I know it is supposed to be the ten friends women need but I feel this can apply to men as well. I enjoyed the explanations of how different people can come into your life at different times and different relationships can be formed through all of these different experiences. This book made me excited for the possibility of once again gaining new friends and also becoming closer with the friends I already have. This book made me appreciate my friends for exactly who they are and always assume the best intentions from the people we love and care about. I valued the authors advice on this topic and look forward to putting it into practice in my own life. I will be on the lookout for more books by Laura Tremaine....
