I am always on the search for better understanding of how I can give more to my friendships and relationships. Time always stands to teach us so much about both, and over the years, you learn through the good and the bad what it really means to have a council of close friends that you can trust. You also learn what it means to lose friends and gain others. To have a life council, you have to be open to change but also open to committing to those in your life and on your council. Tremaine gives us the words to better understand and better articulate what all of these means, and she feels the pages with encouraging stories of her own experiences. She makes you believe that no friendship needs to be the same and that all are given to us for a specific purpose and a specific season of our lives. Some my stay, some may go, some may come back again, but all are valuable.
