I must say, I am rather pleasantly surprised. The actual book is far better than the First Impression.
I did agree with some of the author's points, but for some, I disagreed. Also, she does come off as a little conceited at some points in the book. She also is somewhat self-contradicting.
For example, she provides 10 examples of what a friend in the "Friend Council" could be. She fits them all into those spots, then turns around and tells you, hey, don't try to stuff them into those positions.
Overall, it's not a particularly bad book. Although the author does go into quite some detail regarding her own life, it is a fairly helpful book, some of the recommendations I will be implementing into my own life. It's better than I expected, so for that, I must say, it's not bad.
Writing style is, eh. Nothing unique, although with the phrasing, I would have expected it to be an autobiography not a self-help book.
