This book would be very impactful for the right audience. Sadly I was not the right audience. It may be the phase of life I am in, but I did not find the advice in this book to be very helpful or applicable. It was an interesting exploration of different types of female friendship, but I didn't find it to be actionable. A lot of the advice especially towards the end seemed to boil down to make a majority of your friends in childhood and college, and adulthood friendships can't replicate those bonds. As someone for a host of reasons has left behind a majority of the friendships from those eras of my life, I am looking for advice that is more tailored to someone who in many ways is starting over on friendship in the midst of their late twenties. I think for the right audience this type of book would really resonate, but I was not that audience. I hope it finds it's audience.
