The author has clearly thought a lot about friendships, and even though I don't agree with all the principles she's outlining, I do agree with her that this is a topic that is worthy of our introspection. Friends are an important part of life! If this is a topic you are interested in and this genre of books work for you, I feel like, based on the first chapters, this book offers a nuanced perspective that could help synthesize your own views of friendship more clearly (even if the book feels a bit prescriptive at times). Honestly, even though this is not the genre for me, I'm still intrigue by the 10 archetypes of who should supposedly be on the Life Council.
