This book really resonated with me. I lost my best friend to ALS back in 2018 a couple of days before Christmas. It's made the holidays bleak and left a huge void in my life. I never expected to be without him and making friends has been such a struggle since. As a single mom with 2 young kids, it's so hard to get out and make time to meet people and I've given up on the hope of finding friends. Especially since I know that they'll never fill his void. I want to have friends so bad and I miss having them. If there's some "secret" to be able to find good quality friends, I really need all the help I can get.
