This first look gave me a second to really look at how I am a friend. Being in my 30's, this isn't grade school anymore. I don't want a million friends I can't keep up with, I have those close few. I struggle with getting wrapped up in my own life - kids, work, etc, and I often forget about those close to me. Friendship is not a chore, but it is something you have to work at. I did like the idea of keeping a list of when someone randomly pops into your mind. To make a point to reach out, and not through a screen. The author states that "you cannot replace face to face time" and that is so true.
