While "The Life Council" falls very close to a self-help book, which is not a genre I enjoy, I can celebrate the parts of it that do appeal to me. For starters, I appreciate how feminine it is. Having friends is one of the nicest things for a female, while also being one of the hardest things. I also appreciate it for its modernity, and how its content stays relevant to our current lives.
