If friendship feels like work, is it friendship?

I struggled with this title. I see the value it can have for those who may find it difficult to connect with others, but I also question whether the messages may be harmful at times. Calling friendship work, which the author does on page, immediately turned me off to the remainder of the first look. If it feels like work, you imply that you are engaging in a friendship with someone because you have a goal in mind and view them as a means to an end, and I cannot get behind that sentiment.

Overall, the piece is written well, very conversational and engaging for the reader, but the message is lost to me. I hope you find your audience.
