Those who enjoyed The Plot, will enjoy this most recent Korelitz novel. This novel follows the often troubled relationships between a family who deals with infidelity, strong personalities, and life challenges. This lengthy novel draws in the reader and keeps you engaged throughout. While none of the characters seem to like each other each is likable in their own way.
As with Korelitz's other novels the characters are rich and intriguing. They feel like complex real people. I am a huge fan of Korelitz's earlier work and was very excited to this latest publication. There are a lot of other options out there when it comes to new fiction. This book stands out in that it feel substantial, yet manages to be super fun and intriguing.
I'd recommend this to fans of Donna Tartt and similar literary fiction titles. I'm looking forward to what Korelitz puts out after this too.
