After a lengthy session of reading an account starting at chapter five, I can’t really get into this story and haven’t found characters who appeal to me. The idea of the story is interesting, but there just seems to be too much telling and not enough showing by conversation and actions what the characters are like and why I should want to invest my time reading about them. I’m sure there are others more patient than I am and willing to wait to see how the story unfolds now that baby # 4 has arrived.
