A bold move to start this sample at chapter five. I was immediately swept up by the writing style- it’s so punchy and loud and dramatic and not in a bad way. The style overall has more character than the average contemporary fiction I’ve read. The premise is also very unique and I sense a tinge of dark comedy beneath the surface of the familial dysfunction. All in all, I’m curious about this title. The cover is fine and I like how it ties into the plot.
