I enjoyed The Plot, so I was interested in what else the author had to offer, but I’m not sure about this one. I do like the cover, but I was pretty sure I wouldn’t connect to the premise involving a super rich New York family. And given that our sample starts at chapter 5–it already put me on the wrong foot, because you don’t get a chance to get an introductory set up. It’s something I would read if I won it, but I’m not sure I would seek this out otherwise.
