I don’t know what I was expecting but I found this very tedious. Entire passages could be cut away with nothing gained or lost. The overt meandering writing style really left nothing for me to sympathize or connect to. The familial drama aspect of this story seems like it may play out well over time but I found it rather lackluster overall.
