Who's the spy on board the dredge?
I liked the writing! I liked the world! I liked the action! The descriptions were to the point, and I could visualize the scenes. I have so many questions: What do they want the gold for? What is the Admiral's agenda? How do the people live outside the wall? Are the Raiders the bad guys or not? What about the Union who sent the settlers to the Outpost generations ago? But most of all, who's the spy on board the dredge? ...In short it got me interested.
The only thing that I didn't like so much, as in many YA novels, was the main character's attitude. She didn't sound like a teenage girl. Also she is way too young to be the Admiral's "left hand" as she puts it. It wasn't believable. Everything else I loved.
