I wish there was more to this story. I feel like there were only two things that were well developed in this book. Poe and the Gilded Lily.
Everything else and everyone else was rather vague, there backstories unclear or they were just mentioned in passing with no details even though they seemed important to the story line.
I really enjoyed Poe and her personality, her devotion to her loved one and her ship. But everyone else she seemed to not care about much until after they died.
All the other characters weren't as well built as Poe. The world building was rather poor and the plot was clear but not very exciting.
There is no love story or any major bonds of friendship formed. Not much trust or affection given.
