This is an adventure story set in a dystopian world. What first struck me about the main character Poe was her confidence. Secondly, I was able to identify with her determination; even if that determination is fueled by a desire for revenge. One of the other characters I was able to identify with is Naomi. Sometimes she lets her fear guide her actions which makes her a relatable character. This book is fast paced and quick to draw you in. I love the idea that there are so many injustices in the story, which reflects the world we live in today. I also love the mystery aspect of the story. I'm left to wonder what happens next and where the story will end. I want to buy this book. I love it!
