I listened to the audio version of the book and very much enjoyed it. I liked the action that was in the story, the way that we went through Poe's transformation from a victim to a leader, and the mystery that is found all throughout the book. Poe goes through a transformation as she learns to battle what she has always believed to be the truth and what she is discovering in the reality she is currently living. I felt as though Poe was a well described character and I was cheering for her through every battle, and every betrayal. It was a fascinating dystopian book that had me guessing at every turn. I loved that it had pirates and I loved that it changed every expectation that I had going into it. Very good book that I would highly recommend.
