I have been a fan of Ally Condie since the day I stumbled across Matched, Crossed, and Reached in my local library. I loved those books so much, I had to buy physical copies for my extensive home library. She definitely knows how to wrap you up inside her stories, and she can write dystopian fiction with the best of them. When I read this, I was unaware of the fact that this book is set in the Matched universe. I went into it pretty blindly, and I'm glad I did, because everything that happened was a surprise. The whole thing was extremely tense and thrilling, and it was almost impossible to put down until I had read the whole book. I had a couple of days of no sleep because of this, and I'm not even mad about it. I highly recommend this book for any reader interested in dystopian fiction, young adult fiction, thrillers, science fiction, and fantasy.
