So, this seems good. It sounds very interesting and I love me a good revenge plot when the mood strikes. However, the writing is just... off. There's something about it that doesn't quite sit right with me. It seems like if I read a lot of it, the writing style would annoy me. Also, I had no interest in the author's other series, even though this one seems very different.
