This book grabbed my attention right away. I like strong female characters and this book does not disappoint. Add in an Admiral obsessed with gold and our main character obsessed with revenge and the plot takes off. Who is the one in league with the enemy and who threatens the captain? Those questions and more assure that I need to read this book.
