First of all, thank you Bookishfirst for an arc of "The Last Murder At The End of the World". When I originally read the synopsis provided on Bookishfirst's website, I was intrigued by the characters, plot and setting provided in the first chapters. I was thrilled to receive an arc of this novel, and I very much looked forward to delving into this unique Storyline. However, as I progressed through "The Last Murder At The End Of the World", I found the plot and characters to have lost a lot of their original luster. The plot dragged on, and the characters became boring with a somewhat predictable outcome. As with other reviews, I also found myself going back in the novel to see if I had missed something. A novel shouldn't be this difficult and confusing to get through. However, if you are a fan of mystery/fantasy and enjoyed Mr. Turton's previous novels, you may want to give this one a try. As you can see by the other reviews, my opinion appears to be in the minority.
