When reading the summary of the book and the beginning with the first impression I found myself drawn into the story as it is so different from anything else that I have read. When I got the ARC I was excited to start it and got disappointed very quickly. While I enjoyed the storyline greatly, I struggled repeatedly trying to figure out characters and their relationships with not only one another but in the story. It kept going from third person to first and when I thought I had the characters figured out, I'd read further and get completely lost with who they are and feel like I had to start over. I even reread things multiple times to try to understand and continued to be lost. I had high hopes for this and was unfortunately disappointed. While I found myself confused other people may not and I am def going to reread it again in the future because I believe once understood will be a good read!
