What a crazy book! I expected nothing less from Turton, who really knows how to write a unique story.

This mystery is unlike anything you've read before. I was turning pages as each new revelation popped up. The story is unpredictable, fun, and full of interesting characters.

I enjoyed the world-building of this story. It was slow, but methodical, turning my preconceived ideas on their heads until I was brimming with questions. There are quite a few layers to this story, and the fact that the story is narrated by an amoral AI makes it at first confusing, then intriguing. I really liked the varies views that each of the characters reveal. Turton does a good job of handling this large cast, balancing the different plotlines deftly. I never felt like it was difficult to remember each character.

The murder-mystery part of the story is very cool. I liked the main character (the amateur sleuth) and it was really fun reading from her perspective as she pieces together the truth. It's fun and totally different than any murder-mystery I've read before. The resolution is very satisfying.

I would definitely recommend this book to mystery lovers. It's fun, it's fast paced, and it's different.
