Very strange and I'd like to know more

I'm honestly not quite sure what to make of this yet. I thought the premise sounded super good and I was pumped for a murder mystery. However, this was definitely not what I expected. The villagers have a voice in their heads that must be part of the security system? And somehow age, sleep, and memories are all being tampered with? I don't know what is going on but I would like to find out.
