Novel with a great hook

The Last Murder at the End of the World opens with several chapters that immediately drew me in by raising questions and curiosity about the characters and this world. A great mystery needs a hook, and this novel has it in spades. There is a killer fog, a community of survivors, and a promise of a last chance to save the world. As I reached the end of the beginning section shared with readers, I found myself needing to know more. Even from the start, this novel promises to be a page turner and will surely find lots of readers eager to dive in.
