Not Sure About This One

The cover art is interesting and would attract attention from the shelves, but the story within is less than compelling in my opinion. The author starts out with telling the reader what people look like and how the scene is set, instead of letting the information flow naturally. I want to be enveloped in the world, not be forced to see what it is like. Overall, I am a fan of this genre, but not sure this book will live up to expectations.
