I love this cover and I’m a fan of this author. I also love murder mysteries, so this book is three for three, for me. I think the inescapable island (and upcoming end of the world) leads the sense of urgency that is a must-have in mysteries. The first few chapters seem really promising. A lot of end of the world books do not seem nearly so enchanting, but this matches the relative “safe” vibes with the murders, and I can’t wait to read this!
