This book starts off with a bang. All sorts of foreshadowing and intrigue and mystery. I was all in at first. And I still think this could be a very interesting book. But it lost me a little when i realized that all these people are obeying all these nonsensical rules without question ‘because that’s the way it is’. That always frustrates me a little. Of course it also always makes me root for the one who finally questions something. I think I’ll pass but I might come back to it at some point
