I love the writing style of this book. I was already drawn in from the first page just by how the author described Niema and the description of the rain and setting. The prologue alone sets up the plot really well.
I also love how the characters interact. We already have a sense of who these characters are and somewhat how they relate to each other.i am very intrigued by the fact that Niema is 173 years old.
I am also really fascinated by the first person narrator who seems to hold everyone's memories right before their death. I am interested to continue reading this book and see how these characters work together, as well as how the prologue plays out.
