I was very intrigued by the title and cover art. The empty boats look mysterious, especially for the lone island setting. I was very confused reading the first few chapters because I don’t understand what the sacrifice will entail or any background. I also thought it slipped through many different character POVs in a short amount of time and it was confusing. This really looks like an interesting story, however, and I loo forward to it!
