Interesting Premise, But It Didn't Work

As soon as I saw the title for this book I was interested--it sounds exactly like something I would read--so I was pretty surprised when I soured on the whole thing during the first page. The story, the writing all felt so corny and over the top from the very first sentence. Definitely not for me.
