In the name of science, someone must die

I was immediately drawn to Emory’s character. She’s not afraid to question things she knows are a bit “fishy”. I have many questions after reading this first impression. Why is there a curfew for just the villagers and not the elders? Who’s the voice that talks to Emory? Why does she literally drop to the floor when a bell rings notifying it’s time for bed? Murder is scary enough on its own, but in a village that is practically at the end of the world, it’s terrifying.
