Cherry is an enabler and also manipulative to keep Sloan "safe" in her rooms.
Sloan's mom really needed to get that girl on a mandatory psych hold.

Cherry really made the whole situation worse because she thought she was protecting Sloan but in fact was pushing her deeper into paranoia by "protecting" (read: isolating) her.
I really truly thought that Sloan was getting somewhere with her dreams but all that positive progress was completely fucked by a Reddit post.
Had the ending been what it was without what I felt was a truly emotionally manipulative toxic trauma bond throughout and a way better therapist this book would have been SOO GOOD.
