I love Jennifer Dugan’s books so I was really excited to read her first Young Adult thriller.
This book had a lot of elements I love! Summer camp setting, slasher vibes, cults.
I felt like this book was a little all over the place for me. The whole plot and the characters were just too disjointed. I didn’t love the ending 😅
I did really like the setting though and how tense the book constantly felt. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. There were so many elements that I was trying to piece together and I was quite suspicious.
Even though I didn’t love the ending, I definitely was not expecting it. I feel like I will be thinking about it for a long time and will be shocked about how it all came together.
I also really loved the cover. The colors look so good and it is just the right level of spooky to bring the story together.
