What I liked about this right from the start was the writing style. From the first paragraph, we are thrown into Sloan's life and see things along with her. We learn of an injury that still sits with her and that she still has really serious problems over whatever it was that happened to her. This is enough to really suck you in and want to read the story. It looks fantastic.
