So far, I like the way the story is told by being in the present but giving the reader glimpses about the murder through Sloan’s therapy sessions and her nightmares. I was worried about the murder scene being too gruesome but it’s not too bad so far. I’m hoping the book eventually reveals more about how Sloan and Cherry’s relationship developed. I’m a little confused about how long the staff was at the camp prior to the murders. Also curious about Cherry’s secret.
