I was really drawn into this first look for The Last Girls Standing. I think it sets up the mystery of what actually happened that night at the camp really well, giving us just enough details to paint the beginning of the threat and keep us guessing. I'm also just very intrigued by a work that examines, in addition to the actual attack, what it's like to survive this sort of horror-movie scenario and live on afterwards. There's also a really clear sense of the codependency of Sloan and Cherry's relationship, where it's both clear how much they rely on each other and understand each other, as well as how that relationship has eclipsed everything else in their lives. I'm definitely interested in seeing where this story goes!
