I enjoyed the tense feeling throughout the first look. You get a snippet of what happened to the two girls and it is scary. You get a sense of who they are, which already made me a little wary of Cherry. Then Sloan finds that box, and now I have to know what Cherry and her mom are hiding. The first look definitely made me want to continue this book.
