I love how the story is told in present time, maybe a month or so after the incident, but flashbacks to the events leading up to and during the incident, either through Sloan's daydreaming or nightmares. The massacre at the camp is very reminiscent of Friday the 13th, making this book seem excellent for fans of movies similar to that. In addition to the mystery and thrill of what happened at camp, there seems to be additional mysteries. Such as Sloan was adopted when she was 4, so does that have anything to do with happened at the camp? And is everything with Cherry as it seems?
