This first impression had me hooked from the start. The writing set up a dark mood perfect for a murder mystery/thriller. The characters are intriguing and all have issues, from avoidance to eccentricity, which makes me want to get to know them better. Sloan's missing memories and her nightmares are enough to make me want to read this book.
