I've noticed that young adult horror/thrillers are becoming a super popular trend right now in the publishing industry and I'm totally here for it! I already love both the main characters, Sloan and Cherry, and these first few chapters really starts to lay out their relationship. The cover really got me - the girl's eyes are shockingly terrified and I immediately wanted to pick it up. The colors and font are also right on trend with this genre and I immediately just from looking at it knew what kind of book it was (which is something I really like). I think the author captures a teenage voice really well.
